Description
Design and make your very own fun and fabulous sock puppets that you can take home and perform with. Children will be thrilled with their unique puppet, they can name it, give it a character and voice. All materials are provided.
This workshop, lead by experienced and talented Rachel Harris who has worked with UKs leading puppet companies, is ideal for drop in sessions at outdoor events, fetes and festivals, play schemes and shopping centre promotions.
For festivals and fetes - the workshop is completely self-contained with tables, a 4.5m x 3m mini marquee, A board signage and all materials.
For Schools - Rachel offers an up to 1.5 hour workshop for one whole class at a time, 4 sessions can be held a day. The workshop includes a short performance demonstration that entertains and teaches puppetry techniques to inspire the children to bring their creations to life.The workshop builds confidence, improves communication, motor skills, imagination and it is great fun.
For Birthday events - a Puppet workshop at a birthday party is great - all the children make their own puppet to take home and there's a show and a chance for everyone to perform too. All materials are provided.
